"Pain is the gift nobody wants" - Philip Yancey.
Pain is a primary reason why people seek help. But what kind of help are we talking about? Do we want to numb the pain, take it away, relieve it, make it stop, or steal it away?
Unfortunately, it's often not an option to make the pain disappear, at least not for long.
Pain is a complicated experience. There's the physical aspect of it, where professional medical help is essential. But there's also a subjective "mental" aspect of it, which depends on how much our brain allows us to suffer from the pain and why.
Body Talk can assist with relieving pain symptoms and, most importantly, finding the story behind the pain and finding out why the body is holding on to it. And if your body is ready to tell this story, it means it is prepared to let it go.
However, achieving a pain-free state is not always possible. For some people, pain is a healing process, while for others, the only option is to learn how to stop resisting it, minimize it, accept it, and carry on with life.
In any case, do not ignore pain, always look for help and try to understand this "difficult gift," and learn about yourself.
A comprehensive approach - is always better than a one-sided. Traditional western medicine and alternative healing do not rule out but complement one another. Energy healing is always beneficial. And spiritual help( whatever it means for one) can never be underestimated.
